Rain Puddle Palette

All of these recordings were done on a Sony Hi-MD Mini Disc recorder with stereo capsule mics. They were all recorded on a rainy day and are much more satisfying when listened to through headphones.



There’s a whole lot going on even on top of a small surface like a puddle so I thought to place the microphone just above the surface for maximum assurance I would pick up the highest frequencies available.
